Confirmed from Ronald Sefton Gaffney Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ronald Sefton Gaffney Memorial Park
“We love this dog park it is grassy and very well kept.”
I really enjoyed my visit to this dog park. Conveniently I was the only one there when I went, so my dog was able to really let loose and run and hunt until his hearts content. They keep a path mowed and trimmed, but allow the majority of the park area remain in its natural state.
They have a very well kept dog park. One for small, and one for larger dogs. Water fountains with dog accessibility. Nice benches to rest on while dogs are playing, either in sun or shaded areas. Overall very nice.
Nice grassy area for dogs to run. Kinda got to put on GPS to know it's there go thru housing development.
Looks nice just went to see it. Grassy area for dogs to run. Go nack and try it out.
Trail conditions & character
“Our community dog park, it's great, people don't pick up after their dogs, but hey, other than that!”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
