Confirmed from Roof Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Baseball and soccer fields dot this large park with playground equipment, benches and pavilions for events.
What runners say about Roof Park
“Very well maintained park with big open space, paved and unpaved walking paths and lots of playground equipment, pretty low on shade but not a big deal if you're prepared.”
Many attractions for the kids! There is ball court, a ball field, and a 1/2 mile track for getting in your cardio. (For those lazy couch potatoes who haven't stretched those legs since the pandemic began) The walk from the parking lot is quite a distance for you....
Great park located next to the Fairview Township Municipal Building with 5 baseball/softball fields, 2 sand volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts, 1 basketball court (but has 6 hoops so you can play 2 half court games), 3 pavilions (that anyone can utilize but can also be rented for events for a fee), concession stand,…
This park has lots of fun equipment for kids to play on. There are monkey bars, seesaws, slides, swings, and lots more. Tennis courts are also available to play on. There are pavilions to host a party or just enjoy a picnic lunch under. A walking trail goes around the perimeter of the park as well.
It's a great park. Multiple baseball/ softball fields, tennis courts, basketball court, a 1/2 mile paved track, open fields, pavilions, and a playground for kids. Multiple porta Johns on site. Plenty of open space/ fields. Ample parking.
Trail conditions & character
“The grass really needs to be cut but, other than that the only issue was that some people brought their dogs, even though there are signs posted.”
