Confirmed from Lower Allen Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling dog-friendly park and playground featuring a creek, picnic areas, baseball fields and hiking trails.
What runners say about Lower Allen Community Park
“Super clean, benches and tables scattered about to enjoy plenty relaxing while taking in the sights.”
“Absolutely gorgeous area, planety of parking and lots of fun things to do!”
“Dogs are welcome on all the park areas but must be on a lead if not in the dog park.”
We love this park. There is always so much space to picnic, toss out a blanket and just chill for a few hours. The park is laid out very well with signs to direct you to each specific part of the park. The walking trails along the creek are amazing..i proposed there on the little bridge.
This is a beautiful park, perfect for trail running. It's honestly one of the nicest public parks I've been to as it abounds with beauty and variety. It runs alongside a creek with boat access.
What a great park. I've been taking my kids here for ages. Great place for a picnic on a sunny afternoon. The creek access is pretty busy on weekends but it's a great spot to get in and out of the creek. The dog park is really nice and the nature trails are an easy way to kill an hour. Definitely recommend lacp.
Awesome park which has it all. A must visit. They have annual events which we have to check out. the Drive was through winding hills and all won't advise during bad weather or after dark if it's your first time here. You can do almost anything here.
