Confirmed from Rotary Park at Wayne Gardens' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful park. Always clean. Shelter with tables can be rented and they have bathroom facilities as well. A paved path winds it's way around and through the entire park. There are different stations for excercises and a playset area with swings, climbing structure and slides.

This is a great little park for quiet walks and picnics. It also has a small playground for children. It's overall a great park for walking your dog, going for an evening stroll or eating food!

A beautiful park with open space and a nice walking path. Three times around the park is a mile. I was most impressed with the restrooms. Very clean and tidy.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“The restrooms were supposed to be unlocked but were locked so we all kept having to make restroom runs but otherwise it was nice.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
