Confirmed from Rotary Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational site offering tennis courts, a baseball field, playground, wooded areas & picnic spots.
What runners say about Rotary Park
“Despite these issues it's still a beautiful local nature area with some wonderful old beeches and maples.”
“There’s some shady areas but not too many.”
“Handicap accessible parking, restroom, dog friendly and picnic tables available for family outing.”
Nice little place for sure. There are a ton of places to park in many different areas. There's all kinds of things to do. Hiking trails, sports facilities, playgrounds, picnic area and tables. It's conveniently located right on 6 mile and despite being in a busy area, it has the appeal of a remote location.
This is one of my favorite local parks but unfortunately it has a few problems you should be aware of. First it has some great walking trails but you'll need to keep yourself oriented because you may become lost. A lot of the trail markers are old and some people have even knocked them down or switched them entirely.
We love this park! A lot to do from ages 2-12. The rubber ground is nice too. No woodchips to deal with. Still have one original structure which I love. Pavilion for party and sandbox. A lot of grassy area to run around.
When I lived in the area this was my go to park to walk my dog. My friend had never been so while I was up here visiting we went. They have a remodeled kids playground up front, tennis courts next to them and a pavilion. Though it looks like they had storm damage that put the pavilion out of commission for now.

“For first timers I recommend taking a right when you enter the trailhead and then stick to the loop that goes around the outer perimeter of the park.”

“Though some maintenance is needed to the trails where they built platforms and walkways over some muddy areas but other then that it's a nice place to spend some time in nature.”
