Confirmed from Royalview Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park featuring trails for hiking, mountain biking, and picnicking.
What runners say about Royalview Trailhead
“They have two different trails to choose from and even an area to clean your bike off in the event it would get muddy.”
“A little hard to find the trail with all the following leaves but it is a beautiful day strongly suggest hiking shoes that are waterproof.”
Nice big area to park has a nice big pavilion plenty of picnic tables and a restroom. Accessible to both red and yellow bike trails. Can also get to the Sugar Bush hiking trail. Nice little trickling waterfall. Trails stay near the streams. Appropriate hiking shoes. There are a lot of tree roots on the trail.
Easy access to trails, ample parking, very close to stream and waterfall
If you are into nature AND spiritual energy you got both here! There is a spirit of the woods that feels fantastic! I felt walked with during a certain part of the hike. The feeling I had was a very friendly spirit enjoying the company. Ok that is not for everyone but for me, I enjoyed the company as well!
Absolutely Love this place a fantastic place for mountain biking or hiking with the dog. It's never too busy but can be hard to find parking by the entrance. But they have additional parking by the pavilion just down the road. My favorite part of this trail is all of the wooden bridge and switch backs and the peace.
