Confirmed from Ruby Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Not a huge woods or particularly scenic, but nice and easy trails for all ages”

Cool little woods in the middle of Michigan City. Nice paths and sone interesting stuff out there like that fireplace like object and benches along the path although uou may want to bring a cover got them. People do camp out there but are mostly friendly and harmless but be aware of it.

A very old forest once you get in. Nice paths from easy walks to rough mountain bike trails. Use an app to track your path! There is no map and I doubt the city knows 20% of the trails in there. There's a really nice fire pit and some bench from an Eagle Scout project that have sadly been defaced.

Nice trails that are hidden away behind the Al's shopping center. Great for a quiet break during lunch to get relaxed before heading back to work

★★★★★ — Tom , Oct 2020

Truly an Indiana woods experience! Many tree species and natural meandering path for a pleasurable hike right in the heart of the city. It was so exciting to find a very old chimney and hearth that was probably from first settlers.
