Confirmed from Rum River North County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Parked and launched our kayaks into the river from this site. We have rented the pavillion here before by the playground. Wonderful park, nice paved walking trail and offers river camping sites

This is a wonderful, extremely clean park in St. Frances that has many wonderful amenities! It's a great place to launch your kayak or canoe and float the Rum River to Anoka.

I just love this north part of the park. I discovered it one weekend when I was visiting my friend in Isanti for the weekend and I brought my dog. We decided to stop at the park on my way back to the cities as my girl is a big swimmer! The best thing about this entrance is it's free!!

Nice trail usually peaceful. Nice clear trails for walking, biking or having a stick sword fight. Cute little stream area. Perfect get away place when you don't have a ton of time to get away

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
