Confirmed from Running Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Running Trails

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (26 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

I like this Trail because it's long and the dirt is pretty packed in. I like to take my dog out here. The trail is not very long unless you walk all the way to the bridge. There is no indicator to show how long each Trail is. But it works for this side of Fort Bragg.

★★★★☆ — Bea , Mar 2018

Once you find the parking for this the trails are truly excellent for Fayetteville very easy on the knees

★★★★★ — Dylan , Feb 2021

My son lives near Fort Brag, but when I go visit I like to find MT Bike trails, is there any near Fort Bragg?

★★★★★ — Johnp , Apr 2019

Theyre on Fort Bragg, quiet, different routes, I really like this area to run especially during pt hours.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
