This is a beautiful place, quiet and remote. I'm told there are 15+ miles of trail here but there were too many cows mulling around on the trailhead to go past the beginning of the trail proper at the bottom of the valley from the parking area. However I will definitely be coming back for another go. This is remote.
Excellent remote spot. No signal, not even on the way there. 10 miles of dirt roads. Very nice place for a day hike, camping, or even just to find some solitude and peace.
Really beautiful spot, great view from the overlook just down the trail from the parking lot. Lots of parking. Not much traffic, I was the only one there. Road getting in is not for the faint of heart, I managed it in my 2L Crosstrek but just barely.
