Confirmed from Salt Corridor Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Salt Corridor Regional Park
“Beautiful walk with some hills but not too steep - enough to get the heart rate up a bit, but easy enough to get my "older guy" exercise!”
It is incredible that you can do a 8 mile hike within a city limit. Nice beautiful area.
Not the easiest to access for a walk. Parked in the Clubhouse Plaza lot and walked down to the path. Easy walking with a few hills. Bugs around sunset but not so bad it became a problem. Nice views along the path!
A great walk along the canyon, either to Monarch Beach or inland into the chaparrel.
Great trails through Laguna Niguel to Dana Point beaches. Beautiful walk with some hills but not too steep - enough to get the heart rate up a bit, but easy enough to get my "older guy" exercise!
