Confirmed from Salt Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a paved trail that's well-suited for walking and biking.
What runners say about Salt Creek Trail
“The trail is very well kept and there are benches along the way for some of us who need a break.”
“A beautiful bike and walking trail that meanders through the canyons that you can follow all the way down to Salt Creek beach.”
“Great for biking, running, and walking.”
My daughter and I decided to take a walk down the Salt Creek Trail. We really enjoyed the sunset along with the scenery. It was nice to see that Alejandro Turnbull with his Eagle Scout Project, put in a bike repair station. The trail is very well kept and there are benches along the way for some of us who need a break.
Such a beautiful trail! There are a lot of up and downs on this trail from pch to marina hills drive, if you have mobility issues please know this is not a flat trail. Tons of snakes, but you can usually see them in advance. One of my favorite trails to bike on! Love it!
A beautiful bike and walking trail that meanders through the canyons that you can follow all the way down to Salt Creek beach. Park your car at chapel Rosa park or Salt Creek beach and enjoy the beautiful nature trail.
This is a fantastic trail. It is miles of paved trails. Great for biking, running, and walking. Perfect if you are pushing a stroller. I enjoy walking my dog. You can choose to stay on the flat areas or challenge yourself buy going up hill.

“This is a very fun trail to bike, or walk along, the only downside is that there are no water fountains, and there is a split in the middle of the trail.”
