Confirmed from San Angelo City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly park offering a playground area, a work-out spot and trails for walking.
What runners say about San Angelo City Park
“Niceley kept small city park with relatively clean pavillion having several tables.”
“Everyone you must come see the beautiful waterfalls and art through out our beautiful town here in West Texas y'all”
Beautiful park beside downtown San Angelo. There’s a large playground for children with a toddler area. A huge green space provides lots of room for kids to run or sports teams to practice. There’s a physical fitness area with exercise equipment. A large covered gazebo provides shade and picnic tables.
This park is also known as the Firefighter Memorial Park. (So it would be nice if Google Maps had that title in their search.) It has a great walking path, beautiful big and fun playground, and a mosaic fire truck.
Great park for the family. Lots of room for the kids to run and play. There is a jungle gym and a old firetruck that the kids can play on. Parking is scarce and might be difficult to get handicap parking. There is a nice trail that wraps around the park that you can walk.
Lots of room to run and play so many different aspects to the playground had my kids so excited about every section they went. I wish they had restrooms that weren't portapottys, and they weren't so far from the playground aswell.
