Confirmed from San Felasco Hammock Preserve Hiking Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene wildlife reserve featuring miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking & horseback riding.

“Be sure to step a bit off the trails to see some beautiful little streams & maybe some deer if you keep an eye out for them.”
“Across the street has miles of hiking trails that are great for jogging, meditation, or sharing with friends.”
Small parking area with a dedicated handicap space. Two loop trails that lead from he parking lot or cross the road and find options for longer distance trails (also loops). You can bring pets on these trails and they are also suitable for children.
Parking is across the street to the main trails. Good hike, tree cover 99% of the time. Went on a Friday afternoon and didn't run into to many people.
A great chance to get away from the saw palmetto and cabbage palm common to many hikes in the region, with forest of beach, southern magnolia, and oak. Quite hilly for Florida too!
February 16, 2025 woke up early, had Hotel Breakfast 🥞, then Bronco, Ashley, and I did a morning walk at San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park. The weather was wonderful, we did about 3 miles and had a close call with a coral snake! 🐍 Did a 3 mile loop, even saw a coral snake!
