Confirmed from San Felasco Mountain Bike Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about San Felasco Mountain Bike Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (34 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Every morning I come and run these trails. The trails are well used yet I never see anyone on them which is nice. Also, I don't know if it's the trail users or the park managers but I almost never see garbage on the trails. Nothing ruins a wilderness experience like garbage so I truly appreciate the cleanliness.

When when I'm in Florida this is my daily ride I love these trails. I always meet the coolest people and have an awesome time on these very flat non-technical trails I wish they would do a little bit better job at the directions because for somebody who's out of town it can be confusing I've met personally some people…

This is our happy place for mountain biking. Beautiful forest with both flowey and moderately challenging trails. Expect some roots and sugar sand. I appreciate the park updated its signage recently to provide more information to hikers. Hikers are welcome but be careful and be forewarned.

Nice trails easy trails. I wish I could have ridden all of them, but this place is huge. For a Sunday, this place was empty, and the locals must love that as most of the trails are shared with hikers and horse riders, we only run into one group of hikers. Also, all the trails are two-way.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
