Confirmed from San Juan Canyon Open Space Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about San Juan Canyon Open Space Trailhead
It's nice to have this hill where you can immerse yourself in nature amidst the city. Be warned of the strong winds on the hilltop, though!
This trail have many branch, natural, wild open grass area and nice tree that kids can claim on. We like it.
I was expecting just another crowded trail, but it was almost peaceful even with other people around. The hike has such a nice variety of shade and open sections with views that actually made me stop and take a picture. Really nice and I'm definitely coming back on a weekday. Perfect way to spend a couple hours.
