Confirmed from San Lucas Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering baseball and volleyball, a playground, and a track, plus a dog-friendly area.
What runners say about San Lucas Community Park
“Clean public washrooms, parking, a small enclosed dog park with a water fountain, big field and nice park for kids.”
“They have poop bags, water for the dogs, shade trees, and plenty of grass.”
This is an out-of-the-way, nice, quite and shaded park. Very nice people go there to exercise their dog. It is small but nice. It has some great seating in the shade, and the bathroom is clean! Take Doggo there. Update: My wife and I visited in the early PM on 9/26/22 with our dog Tedrick.
I stopped here during a long road trip to let my dog run around- I wasn’t expecting much due to the very quick search, but was really impressed. The space is really large, grass is plush and the backdrop set against a bright pink sunset.
We're visiting from out if state with a dog. We found this nice I little dog park. It isn't huge but is very nice. They have poop bags, water for the dogs, shade trees, and plenty of grass. The only negative is that the drainage isn't great so there were a few lingering muddy spots. But overall it's really nice!
The little dog park is very nice and comfortable with shade and benches. It requires an unnecessarily long walk from parking that seems less-than-thought-out and also brings every dog by the children’s play area. This could be rough on senior dogs (from experience). A path straight from parking would be welcome.

“Oh and one more thing, there's ramadas, BBQs, big trees around the perimeter AND clean bathrooms!”
