We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sandhill Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sandhill Preserve
Nice walk in the woods, empty and secluded. It's a shame 429 was built so close to it and yiu can hear the highway though.
Eh. If you're close and looking for a place to walk, it's ok. The path either goes up by the road or a long a private residence, we went as far as we could in both directions without actually going by the road or residence. At least they didn't allow this to become yet another housing development, so kudos for that.
Nice quiet safe place to take a walk and get some fresh air. A few couples were there enjoying the preserve.
Great place. Good hiking trails lots of beautiful flowers, saw a gopher tortoise and Burroughs for more
