Confirmed from Recreation & Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Recreation & Nature Park
“The trails are well kept and have a nice flow out and back with good features.”
“Some very sick very technical awesome place when I got done it took me hours to calm down from all the adrenaline I ingested”
The Mt. Dora mountain bike trail is fantastic. This trail is great for Florida. It is very well maintained and very challenging. We don't have elevation gains in Florida, but we do have great single track. This trail is maintained by Ocala Mountain Bike Association.
Mt Dora mtb trail is awesome! Lots of features to ride and you get on a really good cardio workout too! I prefer my full suspension bike over hardtail to help soak up the roots.
Great park with nice amenities. Still some debris on the disc golf course from the hurricane, but it’s playable. Playground and restrooms are well kept. Two picnic shelters with lights and power. Any park with a restroom with running water is a great park.
There are several things to do here but I come for the MTB trails. The trails are well kept and have a nice flow out and back with good features.
