Confirmed from Sandpoint City Beach Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back lakefront park featuring a sandy beach & placid waters in a charming, picturesque setting.
What runners say about Sandpoint City Beach Park
“Lol but great place to go for a swim with a beach in northern Idaho beautiful mountain Vistas in the background.”
Beautiful beach park with a trail conveniently nearby, super busy during the warmer months and hard to find parking but there's a snack shack here and small playground and plenty of space for the family to get into trouble. Huge waterfront too. We love it her.e
Definitely worth the stop, great views of the lake and nice to walk around or play in the water. Beach is coarse sand and fine gravel. Small food stand right near the beach
Love the city beach at Sandpoint! 5/5 stars. Visit multiple times each year. Amazing facilities for pickleball and basketball. Public restroom. Beautiful beach with a concrete barrier thing to jump off. Ice cream shop that is reasonably priced. I've seen bald eagles in the trees, and pirate ships sailing by.
Amazing & beautiful scenery. Left the car unlocked & everything was safe! Pleasant for older adults, adults & kids. Very nice walking trail & got to capture this beautiful sunset.
