First time visiting the park. The park views are more than enough to take in. The trails are nice and leveled which makes walking them a lot easier, and there’s so much to see. The scent from the plants and flowers made the trails refreshing, and I saw more birds in this park than any I’ve been in.
Although off the beaten path, this place was pretty popular the day I visited. The little one and I opted for the woods trail which was past the boulders and over the creek bridge past the ponds/wetland area and up the small hill. We saw birds, frogs, butterflies, and bird-watchers along the way.
Nice spot for a quick hike that's a bit of a hidden gem. There's a wide, paved path for part of the trail and many signs to learn about the environment along the way. I would have liked a bit more wayfinding off the pet trail, but it's certainly a neat spot to take my dog for a walk in a new area.
It is a nice park to walk, run, picnic, and especially for birdwatching. Their nature is preserved very well, and they have a nice paved road too. There are several parking lots around this park that connect to different trails. The bottom line is this park is FREE.
