Confirmed from Sandymount Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Compact neighborhood park with sports fields, a playground, a walking trail & picnic facilities.
What runners say about Sandymount Park
“It has a nice little playground area for the kids that's clean which is always a top priority for parents who want to take your kids to a playground.”
“It's a beautiful park and love the trail that they but the best thing is it's well kept and love watching kids being kid's”
“There are a few porta potties and paved trails that are a mix of sun and shade.”

Great little park! Sports fields, walking paths, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, a pavilion.
Beautiful clean park, with easy paved walking trails, playground for kids, soccer, baseball, tennis, basketball court. Nice pavilion with tables and benches for events. Plenty of dog owners walking their furry family members. This place also looks very nice in spring
Pretty neat park with a good walking trail and playground for children, along with sports courts for all you sport playing people out there. It's a great spot to bring your pet chicken for a walk because there is a ton of grass for them, but sadly the art of chicken keeping as been dying as of recently. How sad.
Compact, nice paved paths for bike riding by young kids, next to a grammar school, so there are two play areas. Also has a large pavillion for large group picnics, and 4 smaller tables with bench seats and sun screens next to the park play area.

“PLENTY of parking space, lots of little covered pavillions with benches and i liked the trail (which I did not have the oppurtunity to use) that ran around it.”
