Confirmed from Morgan Run Natural Environment Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“I love this area of Morgan run!”

I love this area of Morgan run! It is right on Klees Mill Rd of Rt. 32. It has a lot of hiking trails and is a nice spot for trout fishing and is a stocked river. I believe it is artificial lures only here, but downstream it is not.

Morgan Run Natural Environment Area has a nice series of trails. They have a few good trails that aren’t too difficult and are relatively flat. It is a very good place for a nice relaxing walk with the family or friends. There isn’t a lot of cover from trees so I would be sure to bring sunscreen if you need it.

Morgan Run is a small, out of the way State Park, situated across several stream valleys surrounded by wooded hills. It is an old agricultural land, so you can see an occasional ruins of old farms.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
