These bridges are an integral part of the Santa Ana River Trail (SART). It is somewhat intuitive to cross them to continue along the SART. As the trail is continuous, and you want to traverse a portion or the whole thing, in order to do so, these bridges must be crossed.
Excellent trail for cycling. I usually start @ Huntington beach, go all the way to Angel's Stadium & return. A good 30+ miles. Make sure to check wind speed & direction prior to your cycling exercise as it might be inconvenient if it was windy. There are a lot of resting spots on the road. Safe & clean.
