An excellent place for a hike, especially now with all the flowers in full bloom. I did a 4.2 mile moderated rate hike with some friends and their toddler and it was enjoyable. The trail paths are very well maintained and clean. There are frequent bikers so do stay vigilant and listen for any incoming bikers.
I visited Santiago Oaks Regional Park with my dog, Peyton, to explore some of the trails and get a feel for the area. This park is a peaceful, tucked-away gem in Orange, California, offering a calm and scenic escape from the busier parts of town.
1st thing.... the gate opens at 7 am and the office opens at 8 am. Just in case you wanted to beat the traffic. this place is beautiful, definitely feels like you are far away at times. Trails are clean clearly marked easy to follow. It is 18 different trails or paths you can take.
Where to start. First, I dont give out 5 stars... i just don't. Not everything in life is 5 stars. 1. The trails are endless and challenging. 2. The atmosphere is fun wild and refreshing. 3 parking is great and the people that staff the area are friendly. 4 the visitors that you encounter are just like us...
