Confirmed from Sarasota Springs Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean, shady park with a jungle gym and a merry-go-round.
What runners say about Sarasota Springs Trailhead
“Clean and nice just need more parking”
“It also has bathrooms right next to it and has shaded tables if you want to enjoy a nice snack after play time.”
Our little one’s favorite new park! This is more of a tot park, for 2-5 year olds but the trail is near to take older kiddos on bikes, scooters or walking. Nice picnic areas to have snacks or lunch after play. Definitely visit if you are nearby!
Nice little park with easy access to the Legacy Trail. Perfect spot for lunch. Bike maintenance kiosk is a nice touch with tools and a pump. Not a ton of parking but there are other trailheads not too far away.
Nice trailhead to park and ride the Legacy trail south towards Venice. Has bathrooms, and a picnic table. Not a ton of parking but every time I've gone here, I've always found a spot available.
The small playground is perfect for my 2 year old to burn off the zoomies. Usually he's too small for normal parks like Payne or Bayfront and I'm always worrying about bigger kids running him over but this one is made for ages 2-5.
