Confirmed from Urfer Family Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Multi-use spot with trails & picnic areas, fishing, wildlife viewing & outdoor fitness equipment.

“They also have a separate dog walk but we didn't have a dog with us so we didn't go over there and take pics.”
Really great park in Sarasota! There’s a sizable playground for the kids, and a relatively short but sweet nature trail. Occasionally you’ll get to see cattle and gopher tortoises as well which is always a pleasant surprise. Urfer is always a good choice if you’re looking for a nice park in the area.
Very nice natural park for dog walking! Just remember to clean up after your pooch! Nice trails both asphalt and natural. Lots of benches and exercise stations. Also large playground for the kiddos. Gazebo with tables available. Drinking fountain has built in pet bowl!
I love walking through the trails at this park. They also have a separate dog walk but we didn't have a dog with us so we didn't go over there and take pics. They also have a decent playground with a fenced in section for the little ones which is nice.
Years ago I took my kids to Urfer to play on their awesome playground and I ran some laps on the walking trail. On my last visit I needed some R&R and I got exactly that.
