Confirmed from Saratoga Spa State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large state park featuring mineral springs (not always refreshing) and golf courses, plus museums.
What runners say about Saratoga Spa State Park
“Beautiful and Sundays farmers Market is amazing with unusual crafts and delicious food- fresh and prepared”
The park is a wonderful place to walk, run, or ride a bike. They always have a beautiful well maintained display at the entrance. It always represents the current season. The park itself is large with lots of space, including a golf course. They also have an auto museum.
Great state park with lots of history. Multiple running, biking and hiking trails. Make sure you look for springs and hike to the spring heads. Plenty of parking. Lots of space for sporting activities. Has a golf course, pool and a frisbee golf course. Lots of place to picnic. Don’t miss the spas and museums on site.
Amazing state park, I like to bike here and enjoy the sunsets by the reflecting pools near SPAC. The park itself is not a great fishing spot, but a pleasant place to enjoy a farmers market, play some catch, enjoy a walk and sample the springs. The creek is cold year around if your kids need to cool off.
Such a beautiful place to walk. Great paved pathways as well as trails. Beautiful buildings. The trees along Avenue of the Pines are impressive.
