Confirmed from Sauerman Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice playground. Great little nature trail around the perimeter through trees, and bridges.

So peaceful and quiet! Had the whole place to myself! There was snow when I came, and this was my first time so it took me some time to figure out the pathway runs alongside the left side of the pond, so that's my pro tip! There's a bench by the water for reflection time if that's your vibe.

Thank you Crown Point for making such a beautiful public place for the community. There is lots to do for people of all ages. They have lots of picnic tables under a beautiful gazebo, multiple volleyball courts with sand flooring giving it a nice beach vibe, multiple pickleball courts, a nice sized walking path along…

Huge, diverse playground for kids of many ages and abilities. Swings, slides, spinning, climbing and musical equipment. Some wheelchair accessible equipment. Park has 2 ponds, one with a paved loop that runners, (dog) walkers, and skaters were enjoying.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 13 mentions

“Very little shade from the sun, and restrooms on either side would have been great but like I said a very beautiful park.”
