What runners say about Sawtooth Mountain trailhead
Nice taste of what Joshua Tree has to offer without having to go into the national park. Benefits of that is it’s free and dog friendly. The trail can be a bit hard to follow at times and at some parts different trails cross so watch it.
We parked here for the hike. Nice parking area on packed dirt. The trails were well marked. You will have a good cardio workout.
Great exploration. Could spend all day here. Mix of climbing & trails. Some elevation.
Awesome hiking place, I really recommend this place we hike for 8 miles.
