Confirmed from Sawyer Creek Community Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sawyer Creek Community Nature Preserve
Cute, but pretty small. We walked the complete path and it was just over 2 miles which included significant time on street sidewalks. I think it's great for those living in the area, but not worth a special trip to visit.
Great place always well taken care of and sometimes there is a deer walking through which is always cool to see. Lots of different birds and butterfly's.
Nice little park with a trail and creek. My pup loves to see the ducks and we always see at least one deer.
Great little place to take a walk and be in nature. There is a flowing creek, paved walking/cycling path.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
