Confirmed from Sawyer-Ludwig Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Restrooms

Public park with a disc golf course, softball and baseball, picnic areas, and a playground.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (245 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Very clean and well kept.”

Wide open spaces! The park has enough room for your children or fur babies to run around. Get your grounding in under the shade.

★★★★★ — Young , Jul 2025

There is a newly planted tree on one of the paths near the restroom. This tree is a Memorial for Tim Price AKA Red.

★★★★★ — Geri , Oct 2019

This park has always been a favorite. Disc golf has been an important part since 2004. 18 hole doc golf course used for 2010 Amateur World Championship and lots of local events. Continues to grow with dedication from park department. Added walking trail and new bridge to connecting communities.

★★★★★ — Mid , Jun 2019

The kids loved here! Lots of space to run, love the old school equipment mixed with new! Could be fixed up ofc. There's a cute little bridge with a creek flowing , made for great pictures! We will definitely go again

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
