Confirmed from Marion Tallgrass Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“This is a great walk/bike path and dog friendly(must be leashed), Very peaceful and easy to find serenity here 😊😎 ☺️ ✨️ ❤️”

Biking trail appeared to be 25ish miles of paved out-and-back trail. The walking trail followed the bike trail for a bit. Then split off and was a stone loop trail around the pond/lake. Was nearly 2.5 miles and took me just under an hour. Lot of birds! Saw several great egrets and a great blue heron!

Was an absolute beautiful and peaceful walk. My Baxter loved all the new sights and smells here. We only spent about an hour on the trails due to the heat but definitely excited to explore more in the future.

Flat paved spacious trail - pretty sure a biker would love this spot. A lot of birds but they mainly hide in trees. I saw deer in one of the farm grassy areas.. one playground area too.

It's not a bad trail. It's a little under 25 miles round trip, and there's only one trailhead spot, so it's easy to figure out where to pick it up. It's probably the flattest and straightest trail I've been on. There's a fairy garden, so that's pretty freaking sweet.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 9 mentions

“This trail will surprise you with wonky tree roots in the asphalt every now and then and will absolutely ramp you Evel Knievel style if you aren't careful.”
