Sawyer Park is a beautiful hidden gem in Bend that offers a peaceful and scenic walk. It's the perfect spot to enjoy nature without the crowds, making it feel like a quiet retreat. The well-maintained trails, combined with the natural beauty of the surroundings, make it an ideal place for a relaxing stroll.
One of my favorite small parks in town. The trails and surrounding areas are well maintained and there's beautiful rock features around the park. A larger grassy area opens up after going up the trail past the bridge. Great place to take the dogs or just go on a walk!
Sawyer Park holds so many memories from my childhood. I still stop by every time I am in the area. We used to eat lunch here with my grandma on her lunch break when I was a child. Sawyer has a nice grassy area with picnic benches.
Been coming here since I was a kid. Lots of lizards, snakes, fish, minnows, crawdads, birds, chipmunks, you name it! Walking paths along the river, couple slow deep areas for swimming, early spring, take a few steps, and baby snakes all take off from hiding. High rock areas for relaxing or beautiful pictures.
