Confirmed from Sayreville Kennedy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Sayreville Kennedy Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,004 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Nice place for entertainment and it's a Skate 🛹 this is the first time seeing a beautiful place to relax and listen to a live band.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Nice place to walk after dark, they keep it well lit and though it's poplar it's peaceful.”

Beautiful lake and walking path alongside a smaller body of water and public artwork. There is also an enclosed skate park and public restrooms via port-a-potty. The reason for this was signage that indicated "due to graffiti and vandalism, the restrooms are only open during special events.

This park is great. A good walking path — about a mile — around the pond/lake. Many turtles to see in the water under a couple of the bridges. Tennis, handball and a skate park. You will have to hold your pee, both bathrooms were locked and frankly looking just gross, scary and dirty from the outside.

★★★★☆ — Alan , May 2023

Lots of ducks and canadian gees. Nice lake and walking path for humans and your dog.

★★★★★ — Sachin , Oct 2024

Nice park, great watch a sunset or walk around the lake. Multiple small lakes. Lots of wildlife, including turtles, geese, swans, etc. They have fishing, tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, skate park, and a fountain. Plenty of benches and trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 11 mentions

“There's a paved walking path circling two ponds, a playground, skate park, tennis courts, cricket/soccer field, and public restrooms.”
