This is NOT a leash free trail. Please leash your dogs and pick up after them. "He's friendly" isn't a valid excuse. Great place to hike around and has many spots for fishing. There's also a dog park, small farm where you can see the animals and a free archery range to practice shooting.
Great place for a short hike. Dogs are a big problem here. Most of them are not on the leash. There are no signs and nobody seems to know about it.
A nice quiet place to walk and breathe some fresh air. The ponds are pretty and you'll always see someone fishing or just relaxing there. Nice to see the horses there as well. Pay attention as you walk! You'll spot squirrels, chipmunks, many types of birds, deer, fox...you never know what you'll see.
The trails and lakefront beach views here are definitely a hidden gem. This park also has an archery range, but note that you'll need to bring bits, arrows, and a target with you. You'll need to drive, but this is not far from the hot dog stand on Bordentown Ave. Horse riding is also an option at this park.
