Confirmed from Scalzi Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Ample green space with facilities for basketball, tennis, baseball, skateboarding, walking & more.
What runners say about Scalzi Park
“Nice and well maintained park that has a bit of everything for everyone including tennis and bacci areas”
This park is great! We will get to the missing star in a moment. The basics: the park has a nice, perhaps quarter of a mile-1/2 mile loop paved trail, has some little fitness stages set up, a softball field, baseball field, nice playground area for the kids, huge tennis court area - I think there are 6-8 courts in…
What an amazing Park I can walk for hours, with plenty of places to sit and rest in the shade and restrooms available if needed. 365 days of the year whether it's super hot or freezing cold it's a great place to get some exercise.
This park has great playground equipment for little and big kids and a large variety of things to do, basketball court, tennis, walking trails, large field to leisurely play soccer, baseball etc. wonderful walking paths and much more. We feel safe here and really enjoy our time visiting.
Scalzi Park in Stamford, CT., is a great family style park. It's got great walking paths, skateboarding, playground, 🎾 multiple tennis courts, baseball fields & park benches. And, the best part is the Park is free.
