Confirmed from Schenley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with 456 acres of trails, a sportsplex, botanical gardens, cafe, visitors center & golf course.

Very nicely wooded! I came through for a trail run and was amazed by the intricacy of the routes within this entire park. Great for a scenic walk or a long run. There's a nice viewpoint on a large hill near the observatory and university campus!
Amazing park, everything is within walkable distance even though it looks like it's a huge park but once you're there, you would love to explore. Didn't find much elevation either. Definitely a must visit.
Great hiking spot in the middle of the city! Schenley Park has beautiful trails, peaceful nature, and nice views. Easy to access from Pitt, and perfect for a walk, jog, or just relaxing outdoors. Highly recommend if you’re in Pittsburgh!
I visited Schenley Park on a fairly calm afternoon, and it felt like a good break from the busier parts of Pittsburgh. The park is quite large, so even when there are people around, it doesn’t feel crowded in most areas.
