Confirmed from Southside Riverfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Southside Riverfront Park
Nice place to relax, do a little walking/running/cycling. Ducks n geese abound. Please, if you feed them, get bird food or something marked for said bird. Potties are there but only in season. Guess you have to have a seasonal bladder. Ramp for you boats and parking available.
This park is scenic and gives the visitors nice views of the river and city . It you enjoy bird watching it's amazing how many different species from me through a side from the geese. The park is clean. The best time to visit is midmorning in my opinion..the marina is an added bonus.
Great place to go for a walk, walk the dog, run, and bike. It is primarily a biking trail that goes all the way to DC. There is a boat launching spot too. During spring you can forage mulberry too. You can find a lot of goose, birds, squirrels, and sometime ground hogs.
