Confirmed from Scioto Grove River Access' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The park is very well kept and has good access and it is a safe place to take children.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Really beautiful park that feels secluded even though it's only 15 min away from the city.”

If you love outdoors and walking regardless of the weather this Scioto Grove River Access has the trails for you. I love the combination of observation decks and finished trails mixed with grass/ dirt trails in the trees when you take the River Trail.

Really beautiful park that feels secluded even though it's only 15 min away from the city. The trails are great to walk and it's a solid place to fly a drone on a non-crowded day and get some cool shots! I've only been a few times but I will be making my way back more often with the weather warming up.

Lovely park with a good chance to see deer and all other sorts of wildlife. Awesome trails and camping sites as well!

★★★★★ — Chad , Jan 2020

Snowy and sunshine. Still breeze. Probably the nicest hike I have taken here.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
