We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Scioto Run Nature Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Scioto Run Nature Trail
It's a trail through the woods with houses pretty close by on either side. We saw a number of birds and the creek is lovely. If you want a short walk that's easily accessible, this is great.
A nice nature corridor. Perfect distance for a dog walk down the trail and back. I tend to park at Home Depot and enter the trail where it's unmarked across the street on Trueman Blvd.
This is such a nice area to walk. A lot of traffic noise but other than that, very peaceful. I can't wait to come back when the trees are blooming.
Had a relaxing time walking with our dog. She enjoyed the sniffs and got to play a bit in the water.
