We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Secondary Trail Head yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Secondary Trail Head
Nice hike, we dis a 3.5 mile loop but you can do more than that or less. You can hike to monument rock!
June 4, 2023 Belle and I took Fletcher out to run around Mount Herman area in Pikes National Forest in Monument Colorado October 2023 walked Mount Herman Trailhead March 11th, 2024 Fletcher at Mount Herman in Monument and Sage and Zeus in Denver!
I pulled off a prank on my friends here and scared the s... out of them as I started running the opposit way and they started running back ward after me. 😆🤣😂
There’s a mirror out of trails feathering all through this area if you cross Mount Hermon Road, you can get a little bit of elevation gain. I think this would be particularly good for mountain bikers.
