Confirmed from Secor Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large park featuring hiking trails through the forest, open fields, playgrounds & picnic areas.

Toledo area is blessed with amazing and beautiful parks and among them Secor Metropark is a gorgeous place to go for picnic, walk or spending time in woods. This park is huge and has beautiful walking trails in dense trees which looks lush green.
Gorgeous everything. Great parking. Indoor flushies. Make the hike as long or short as you want with the different loop choices. Highly recommend
Nice hiking trails. The windows on wildlife had a lot of interesting birds you might not see on the regular including a hummingbird. I also saw deer, a raccoon, and a toad.
A nice park with a nice trail for birding. The Lone Oak area is my favorite spot at the small bridge. It is near the picnic area and on one side is the playground.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
