Confirmed from Toledo Botanical Garden's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 9 mentions

“It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place to walk around and enjoy nature.”

We visited on a Sunday late afternoon in mid-April 2025. We parked in the artist village. There were plenty of spots but there were also a lot more people here than we expected. There is a large playground area with many kids playing in it. Our kids played for a little bit but I think it was a bit crowded for them.

We love coming here! I try to bring my family a few times a year. The playground is awesome, although with how crowded it can get, it would be nice to have a 2nd play area. Luckily, my kids also love walking around the trails and checking out the beauty all around.

🌿 Absolutely Worth the Visit We’re from Indiana and had been really looking forward to checking out this botanical garden. It was completely worth the trip. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place to walk around and enjoy nature. What makes it even better is that it’s not commercialized at all.

★★★★★ — Joanna , Jul 2025

My husband took me to Botanical Gardens for the first time ever. I grew up Horticultural so plants and flowers get me "buzzing". It base BEAUTIFUL, Peaceful, Easy and wide walk ways for strollers. The only part I disliked about it NO PETS allowed. So dogs walkers can't bring pup along.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
