Confirmed from Sedgwick County Conservation Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sedgwick County Conservation Park
“The dirt trails are pretty extensive and mostly shaded and give you some nice views of the creek.”
Pretty good. You got nice cement path to walk if you want to enjoy a casual stroll. Then you got longer more wooded dirt trails you can follow. The dirt trails are pretty extensive and mostly shaded and give you some nice views of the creek.
Love this park, its so BIG and open. A bit chilly in the shaded areas. Oh, yeah after months of looking for horses last year, we finally saw a couple. Nice for just exploring and getting the EXTRA engery out of my boy! Its a must go for me!
Not a bad place at all to get out and enjoy the outdoors a bit. I don't think you can ever gripe about nice open natural spaces but still, the walk paths are nice, the open spaces too and the parking isn't even too shabby. We definitely appreciate the opportunity spaces like this conveniently located near Wichita.
