Confirmed from Seminole Wekiva Trail - Markham Woods Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

5 stars for the trails, -1 star for too many unmarked trails, thus making for the possibility of being on an unintended trail. This is a nice mountain bike area. Beginner and Intermediate/advanced-beginner trails.

Markham Woods trail system is a gorgeous facility. Well-marked trails, and a group night ride every Wednesday evening. Facilities are nice here as well. Restrooms and bike wash, well taken care of. Depending on when you go, it isn't super crowded.

★★★★★ — Karl , Mar 2019

The Seminole Wekiva trail is an excellent 16.8 mile paved trail, only 0.4miles are on grassy/dirt terrain to get to the very end of the trail. The trail actually starts right next to a CVS where 414 ends into Maitland Blvd, but you can start it from so many places along the way.

★★★★★ — Ryan , Dec 2019

This area has a dirt trail for hikers and bikers, with good, clean restrooms and a water fountain. There's even a bike station with tools to help tighten your chain or fix a flat tire, and eve a bike wash station when you're done for the day and want to take home a clean bike.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🌲 Natural surface / singletrack 6 mentions

“There are trails welcoming to families with less skilled riders, and there are some reasonably technical trails with as much elevation change as Central Florida can offer.”
