Confirmed from Serpentine Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Serpentine Preserve
“Wonderful nature preserve with beautiful trails for easy walks and outings.”
“Nice and quiet with multiple trails”
Pleasant and peaceful. Don't be deceived — the name relates to the winding paths, not an abundance of snakes.
Don't be deceived — the name relates to the presence of serpentine stone that comes in a captivating array of colors, ranging from lush greens to deep browns, often resembling the skin of a serpent, from which its name is derived.
Beautiful and quiet. Small but challenging paths. Lots of GeoCash. Locals ride horses through there with my 3 year old loved to see
Nice little walk in Nature...can be quite muddy days after a rain and bring plenty of insect repellent...this place is loaded with ticks..been there 3 times n Everytime found a tick or two on my person.
