Confirmed from Sertoma Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a butterfly house, a playground, a picnic shelter, walking paths, restrooms & more.

I use this place primarily for walking my dog and to run energy off. There are plenty of side trails we can take off into the pretend wilderness. It's peaceful and quiet usually early in the morning on the weekends. I just started going early like 7:30 but I used to go at dusk before they close.
I first went back to the dog area, despite having no dog. There was a nice, wide dirt path that circled a pond where you can canoe. I later took the trail down to Yankton Park to walk along the river (very short walk away).
Even though it was february, it happened to be in the 60s when we were here and had a blast at this park. It has three different playgrounds, and aquarium and butterfly area, and lots of places to run. Great area for kids!
This park has a ton of stuff to do, great shade, wonderful gathering area! I highly recommend Churches book this for live performances too.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
