We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Seth Low Pierrepont State Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lush state park with hiking access from multiple parking lots, plus lake boating/fishing launches.
What runners say about Seth Low Pierrepont State Park
“Hard trails, easy trails, great views, pretty much everything.”
“Aside from the abundance of mosquitoes (kind of understandable, because of the recent rain), SLP is a very nice park, well marked, with a lookout and interesting terrain.”

Small parking near Knollwood and Twixt Hill road. Great hike with amazing views through the forest. There are several miles of trails to keep you occupied for a while. There is little to no parking near the park unfortunately which may make it hard to visit.
Get immersed in nature in this state park. If you are escaping from New York City this park is not a long drive away and has a winning combination of forestry, small lake, and mild elevation gains. There are multiple walking paths so you can definitely customize your day to your party's needs.
Mountain biking at Seth Low was awesome! Once we got to the top of the first climb we were greeted with an epic slab that was a lot of fun to session. In fact, there were lots of trail side features to play on throughout so keep your eyes peeled. For a complete review of my ride check out my YouTube channel TrailSage.
