Very nice, level trail with a lot of older growth trees and very diverse forest, great views of the Monongahela river and surrounding hillsides. Joins up with the WV rail trail system which is equally as enjoyable. Especially nice in Autumn.
Quiet but lovely little forest trail with a good view of the power plant
The Sheepskin Trail Trailhead in Point Marion, PA is nice. You can park here and ride down to Morgantown, West Virginia and beyond on the Mon River Rail Trail System. The Sheepskin Trail is park of the planned Parkersburg to Pittsburgh (P2P) Trail. The Sheepskin Trail will be 30+ miles when complete.
